PARLIAMENTARY SUPPORT

PARLIAMENTARY SUPPORT

Several MPs and MEPS in all parties have expressed strong support for this West Midland strategy and we urge The Government to make the official national policy: first, preserve the excellent Pinewood facilities where we have them; second, expand film making factory infrastructure with The Pinewood brandname where we do not and to commence in the Heart of England.

In an absolutely ideal world we would seek for the Government to protect the heritage and location of the original Pinewood Studio in Iver Heath, South Bucks. However,  if and only if the choice boils down to either moving Pinewood Studios, Teddington Studios and Shepperton Studios outside The UK or relocating, then Save The British Film Industry.com support moving the whole operation to the centre of  the country on suitable ex-industrial land.
