The Chinese Government are generally perceived as shrewd. They are telling their people to get out and get out fast.

The UK Government is saying to holidaymakers to just enjoy a cup of tea in the beach resorts, but best not go on a shopping trip to Cairo.

In the Mediterranean possibly only Cyprus and Israel are safe bets for holidays - and we are not sure about Cyprus given the small matter of two large standing armies squaring up in a country the size of Wales.  Paphos looks the safest spot in Cyprus as it is furthest from any possible action. Why else did we release Ali al-Megrahi, the convicted Lockerbie bomber ?  Ironic if the dictator we kow-towed to is kicked out of his country.
