What Does Roman Abramovich’s Chelsea’s Victory In Munich, The London Olympics, The Death of ‘The Libyan Bomber’, Psalm 83, Genesis 12 verse 3, Psalm 122 verse 6, Sky High Spanish Unemployment All Point To ?

First, let us give great thanks to Roman Abramovich. He literally burst into England in the first weekend of July 2003 and rescued British Football and took it to new heights.
People forget that Chelsea were one week from bankruptcy and so were West Ham. Abramovich rescued BOTH clubs giving West Ham tens of millions for Joe Cole and others. Overnight he injected £300 into English football and some found its way to Scotland. Moreover his bold move significantly increased the TV rights bidding war and put many other hundreds of millions in the game for a much hotter product. This attracted in the very best players (seeking the biggest pay days in the world) and this brought in the billionaire owners of other clubs (not least Manchester City). The football just got ever more exciting and dominant on global TV. The man to thank is Roman Abramovich. English football could have gone bust in 2003-2004 but instead has had a near decade of riches, entertainment, joy and prestige.
How did Abramovich get his wealth and generosity ? Well he started as a poor man but with one very important ancestor from around 4000 years ago who he was named after. Abraham was guaranteed by God in Genesis that his descendants would be a blessing to every family on earth, and that even his name itself would be a blessing. Well there are plenty of people celebrating the name Abraham (Russian language version) this weekend.
The children of Abraham set up every major Hollywood Studio (except Disney) and were all East and central European Jews whose families were persecuted and who fled to the East Coast of America. They were not allowed to enter the film industry in New York because of an anti-semitic cartel, and so they went to an uninhabitable desert in a California state with fewer than 2 million people. The land was free or cheap. The bureaucracy non-existent. They built towns with walls (called studios) and if you have ever enjoyed a Hollywood movie then God made good His Promise to Abraham in your life. Hollywood has been a staggering blessing to every family in the world. It was also once a huge source of inspiration, hope and aspiration as well as laughter, mirth, education and entertainment.
The children of Abraham have made staggering contributions to science, art, medicine, music, sport, business, retail, fashion, tourism, technology from computers to mobile phones, television, comedy, theatre, dance, education, food, hairdressing, the law, ….well the list just goes on. It gets ever longer. An Israeli science team may be about to reduce electricty bills worldwide by 90% before 2020. The more you research the children of Abraham’s contribution to British life, the more you realise how cold, drab, miserable and limited it would be without it. Just try shopping without Marks and Spencers, Tescos, BHS, etc. Paul MaCartney acknowledged that without Jewish people, the Beatles would never have gone on to have their music enjoyed around the world as opposed to a small part of the UK.
Other children of Abraham include David Beckham and Sebastian Coe. They were the two most important people in bringing The Olympics to London in 2012. If it blesses you, then give thanks to God for again delivering on His Promise to Abraham. In the weekend Chelsea won in Munich, so the Olympic flame arrived in Britain.
God actually spelt out to Abraham that ‘Anyone who blesses you, I will bless. Anyone who curses you, I will curse’. This is Genesis 12 verse 3, and God then underlines over and over in The Bible that this Promise extends to all of Abraham’s children through Isaac and Jacob whom God officially renamed Israel. Israel’s most famous son was Joseph (of The Andrew Lloyd and Tim Rice musical) but he had eleven brothers whose children are all part of the Divine Deal.
Back to Munich and The Olympics, well alas Munich in the 1920s and 30s was the city which gave Hitler and The Nazis their initial start and support. It was in Munich on November 8 in 1923 that Hitler made his first grab for power. His military coup failed but ten years later once the Nazis were in power in Germany, then Munich became the spiritual heart of Nazism. It was always Hitler’s favourite German city. In Berlin there are lots of memorials to the Holocaust (Hitler’s murder of 6 million Jews) but not in Munich. In the death camps for the children of Abraham, there are memorials but not in Munich. Munich chose to forget or let other German towns and cities take the full blame.
This is not to unjustly blame modern Germans for the evils of the 1930s and 40s.
The reason why Munich has more living memory accountability is that 40 years ago in The Munich Olympics of 1972, many Israeli athletes were kidnapped and murdered by Palestinian terrorists. The captured terrorists were shamefully released by the German government shortly afterwards. The murders live on TV robbed the entire modern world of an innocence which had truly existed in most people until that point. The release of the terrorists started the cynicism and loss of trust people in 2012 have for politicians and governments.
The London Olympics would do very well to have a moment of silence in memory of these slain Israeli athletes. It is shameful that they have so far refused to do so. It may also prove unwise if God once again plays the Genesis 12 verse 3 card.
The Munich Olympics were still blessed by God through a child of Abraham. Mark Spitz from the USA won seven gold medals in the swimming pool.
But what of the so-called Libyan bomber who died this weekend in which Chelsea won in Munich and the Olympic flame arrived in Britain ?
Well, first Megrahi may have known a lot about the bomb which was the biggest terrorist attack in British history in which 243 people were murdered in a Pan Am plane over Lockerbie in December 1988. But that was in his capacity as Colonel Gaddafi intelligence officer.
When the plane was blown up the investigation in 1989 RIGHTLY focused on Iran and a Palestinian terrorist cell in Frankfurt Germany which almost certainly were the main players in this evil act. However, the moment Saddam Hussein of Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990, the Western led coalition needed Iran to be at least neutral to expel the Iraqi army. The price was to look elsewhere for a Lockerbie scapegoat. Colonel Gaddafi was a frameable candidate and indeed he had possibly supplied finance and intelligence to help out. When he was also needed back in the Western fold post 9/11 then he had to be cleared. So he put up a patsy who served a few years in a Scottish jail. When Megrahi was about to spill the beans on what he knew in the witness box (fingering the Palestinians and Iranians), he was released just before he was due to give evidence.
International terrorism and all aeroplane terrorism started in 1969 courtesy of Palestinian terrorists Black September. The Munich Olympic murders were again Palestinians. The Lockerbie bomb was almost certainly planted by Palestinian terrorists. Palestinians openly celebrated 9/11 on TV.
However, it is now fashionable or sheer habit for The Government to be in total denial about the capacity and motivation of Palestinian terrorists. Indeed almost any Palestinian who has planted a bomb is treated as a saint. A bit like Munich, they like to pretend Hitler never went near the city.
If this was just theory, then so what ? How can it affect us in the UK ? Well alas terrorists want to target the London Olympics. The BBC and Government have even worked this out. Given that a swimmer could disrupt the Oxford-Cambridge boat race, well do not put too much trust in human hands to prevent them. It might be very wise to plead for Divine Protection by well….a prayer event.
Alas, the only religious event London plans is a full on Pagan service which expressly worships The occult god Zeus (a powerful demon). Get ready to sing to Zeus in The Opening Ceremony of The Games. No chance of honouring the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the Opening Ceremony in London. Absolutely no chance of worshipping Lord Jesus Christ (still officially God of the UK from the 1952 Coronation Oath) Creator of The World and every sport in it. Oh that we could in the Opening Ceremony Call on the Protection of The Blood of Lord Jesus Christ over these games.
Meanwhile good old Iran (by this we mean the few people who rule Iran) have nearly got nuclear weapons ready to strike Israel and the manic intention to use them. Further, The Psalm 83 scenario is at the door. The so called Arab Spring has led to the neighbours of Israel (as detailed in Psalm 83) getting ready to try to genocide every Israeli in war of total hate.
If this begins during The Olympics, do not be surprised. If it spoils the London party, well maybe Genesis 12 verse 3 gives you a heads up.
Psalm 83 suggests that God will utterly vanquish all of Israel’s enemies and extend her borders to the oil fields of the Middle East, thus giving Israel a short blissful period of peace and prosperity.
In Psalm 122 verse 6, people are guaranteed by God to be blessed if they pray for the peace and prosperity of Jerusalem.
As we want all of you, and all of the UK, and all of The British Film industry blessed, so we urge people to pray for the peace and prosperity of Jerusalem.

Spain in the middle ages hosted 90% of the Jews in the world and rapidly became a global superpower controlling the seas, America and most of Europe. Spain had only 20% of the population in France. However, Spain started persecuting Jews officially (The Spanish Inquisition) and sank rapidly to a third rate backwater with poverty and few job prospects. Just over twenty years ago The King of Spain knelt with others to apologise to God for the sins of his nation against the Jews over previous generations, and The Barcelona Olympic Games were a huge success and kick started rapid Spanish economic growth. This was a European economic miracle in the 1990s. However around 2004 the Spanish government turned against Israel and the economic woes soon came. Now over 50% of people under 25 are unemployed.
Be it in Chelsea, Munich, Spain, or anywhere else Genesis 12 verse 3 is still going strong.

Truly The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (renamed Israel) deserves praise. It would be great if people would praise Him everytime they see or hear anything about The Olympics and especially if they see the torch.
