Please Please Pray For The Peace and Prosperity of Jerusalem and of Israel as The Psalm 83 War Approaches

Now a good part of the original mission of this Lobby Group and website has been accomplished, the website is staying around for a wider brief especially blessing Jerusalem and Israel and to advise everyone to do the same.

Just like the base of the spine nerve centre links to the whole body, so Jerusalem and Israel affect every Government, nation, family, individual. Praying for the peace and prosperity of Jerusalem and Israel is not only morally right, but also praying for yourself, your family, your business, your town, your nation.

In Psalm 122 verse 6 God mandates everyone to pray for the peace, security, protection and prosperity of Jerusalem and guarantees to bless every one who does so.

In Genesis 12 verse 3, around 4000 years ago, God promises to bless every individual, every family, every town, every organisation, every business, every industry, every Government who blesses Abraham and his seed. He also promises to curse any individual, family, town, organisation, business, industry, Government which curses Abraham and his descendants.

In The Bible God also makes crystal clear that the land of Israel which belongs to Him, He has given to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob whom He renames Israel and Israel’s children (including Joseph of the Andrew Lloyd Weber-Tim Rice musical). This gift of land is for all time. He guarantees to curse anyone who divides ‘My Land’.

God also states that Israel is the Apple of His Eye. The new test of blind obedience post the Garden of Eden. He warns people not to meddle with it or expect it to become a Cup of Trembling to those who do. This is in Zechariah Chapter 12 verse 2. Every politician who tries to divide it, in the name of (a false albeit occasionally well meaning) ‘peace’ seems to fall from power and good reputation.

The phrase ‘Apple of My Eye’ comes from  Deuteronomy, Psalms, Proverbs and from  Zechariah Chapter 2 Verse 8.

“Whoever harms you Israel, harms The Apple of My Eye” says The Lord God.

The empirical studies are stunning. Within 24 hours of every US President publically trying to divide Israel and Jerusalem there have been epic ‘Act of God’ disasters from oil spills in the sea to hurricanes which destroy all in their path to military disasters. The British Empire collapsed in line with reneging on Government promises to give the land of Israel to the Israelis. They have generally reneged and divided the land, but have on occasion had a more pro-Israel stance as in the 1956-67 period which saw 007 burst on the scene along with Michael Caine, the Beatles, swinging London, an English World Cup Football win and tremendous cultural blessings which re-established the UK as a global leader. Conversely in 73-74 when The UK Prime Minister sided with the nations which launched a war on Israel, so the UK had electricty and petrol rationing. People could not go to work save three days a week, and could not cook at home nor watch TV. They could only live at night by candle light.

The Wall Street Crash came just after the US State Department and President went limp on recognising Israel but the US world domination followed the moment President Trueman became the first nation to recognise Israel. Meanwhile the UK which would not had food rationing for another seven years.

The examples in history are staggering and increasingly well charted.

Little Bournemouth twinned with a little town in Israel and its property prices took off into orbit. Instead of being a ghost town in winter, it became an all year round Conference and shopping town visited by people from every nation and with staggering high quality restaurants and nightlife.

It would be fantastic for a film to be made about the 3000 year old prophecy  in Psalm 83 which has never yet come about, and yet now seems to be on the near horizon. An invasion of Israel by specific countries (the exact specific combination of which has never happened) with the express motive of total genocide. The prophecy suggests that The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (who was renamed Israel) and their descendants defends Israel extremely successfully.

¹ O God, do not remain silent;
do not turn a deaf ear,
do not stand aloof, O God.
² See how your enemies growl,
how your foes rear their heads.
³ With cunning they conspire against your people;
they plot against those you cherish.
⁴ “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation,
so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.”

⁵ With one mind they plot together;
they form an alliance against you—
